תָּאלָאf. tâla, a species of palms (v. Löw, Pfl., p. 11 2); (Rashi: young palm).Pl. תָּאלִין, תָּאלֵי. B. Bath.69b one must write in the deed of sale, קני לך דיקלין ות׳וכ׳ take possession of the palms, the tâlin, the shrubs (dwarf-palms), and the stone palms.
